Obama takes office, plans massive economic, environmental changes (Fleet Owner)
Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States today, and the transportation industry waits to see the impact of the economic and environmental plans the new President has promised to implement.

The trucking industry is not the only one waiting to see what Obama can do for us. I just hope he won't dissapoint everyone, like president Bush did.

Well, it's been 2 years since Obama was sworn in and he has done nothing for the trucking industry in my opinion except ruin the economy that we rely on.
I hope the conservative congress can get us out of this mess that Obama got us in to.

Thinks have not improved for trucking much but I think our lack of infrastructure is to blame. China is speeding light years ahead of us because they have well build roads, internet systems and drainage. We need to move into the 21st century.
